Available Boat Rentals
Enhance your experience at Skycroft by enjoying the beautiful and peaceful Opinicon Lake. With access to the Rideau Canal and many of the neighboring lakes, we are the perfect starting point for a great day on the water.
Available to rent are 5 new pontoon boats and 2 fishing boats.
21' Princecraft Sportfisher
Capacity: up to 1346 lbs total (includes any equipment and gear). Maximum of 10 persons.
Rates:
Half day: $240 (walk-ins only)
Full day: $360
14' Boat (10 HP engine)
Capacity: up to 495 lbs total (includes any equipment and gear). Maximum of 4 persons.
Rates:
Half day: $75 (walk-ins only)
Full day: $120
Do I need an Ontario Boaters Licence?
No. If you do not have one, we can issue a temporary licence for the duration of the rental.
We provide thorough instruction on how to safely operate all boats.
Do we need to bring our own life jackets?
No. We provide all required safety equipment, including life jackets.
While it is recommended to bring your own, we can provide them free of charge.
When is pick up and return?
Boats can be picked up as early as 9am, and must be returned by 8pm on the last day of your rental.
Is there a cleaning fee?
We hope not! We reserve the right to charge a $50 cleaning fee if the boat is returned in "worse" condition.
We ask guests do their best to remove all sand, mud, weeds, litter, etc from the boat, anchor, and prop.
Is fuel included?
No. We provide a full tank, but guests are responsible for fuel used.
Billing occurs once the boat is returned and inspected.
Is alcohol permitted on the boats?
No.
Can boats be used to tow anything?
No.
