Avoid the stress of packing up the car for your weekend getaway... we provide the basics you will need to enjoy a weekend in the outdoors. Outhouses and water hookups with clean water are nearby.

What's included?

We provide a canvas tent, 4 cots, 4 chairs, picnic table, firepit with cooking grill, cast iron cookware, plates, bowls, mugs, utensils for eating and cooking, and 2 re-fillable jugs of water. There is currently no hydro hook-up on-site.

Tent Camping

Enjoy traditional camping with our private and secluded tenting sites. There are no hydro or water hookups.

Designated tent sites are 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, and 49

Large and secluded tenting sites. Includes picnic table and firepit with cooking grill. Outhouses and water hookups with clean water are nearby.


These sites a few minutes walk from our wash house which features laundry services, flush toilets, and hot showers.

Cottage Camping

Welcome to the Acorn Lodge. Located on the shore of Opinicon Lake, this small but charming cottage features air conditioning for those hot summer days.

Ideal for a small family or groups up to 5 adults

The bedroom has queen size beds and a single bunk. There is a futon that folds out into a queen. Fresh bedding is provided.

Fully equipped kitchen

The kitchen comes with an electric cooktop, refrigerator, sink with running water, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, dishes, glasses, cutlery, basic pans, and utensils.

Other amenities

There is a deck overlooking the lake and a patio with picnic table and firepit. It does not offer bathroom facilities, but the main washhouse with hot showers and flush toilets is just up the hill.

All overnight trailer and tent camping sites offer water hookup.

 Sites #1, #2, #10, and #16

These sites offer 30-amp service. They require you to back in your trailer. #1, #2, and #16 offer a waterview while #10 is secluded and close to the playground and washhouse. These are some of our most desired sites.

Sites #12, #13, #14, #20, #33, and #34

Centrally located, these sites require you to back-in and offer 30-amp service.

Sites #24, #25, #26, and #27

#24 and #27 are pull-thru sites that offer 30-amp service. #25 is a pull-thru site that offers 20-amp service. #26 is a pull-thru site that is suitable for a small camper that does not require an electrical hook-up.
